Embed a tool on your site

Put any Filezy tool directly on your own page with one line of HTML. Free, no signup, no tracking, and no attribution required — though a link is always welcome.

What your visitors get

The embedded tool is the real thing, not a teaser. It runs entirely in your visitor’s browser exactly as it does here — their files are never uploaded, to us or to you. No account, no daily limit, no watermark, and no upsell inside the frame.

There is also no tracking script in the embed. Analytics are deliberately left out, so putting a Filezy tool on your page does not add a third-party tracker to it.

Why we offer this

Honestly: because it helps us too, and it seems better to say so than to pretend otherwise. You get a working utility on your page without building or hosting anything. We get a link, and links are how a small site becomes findable at all. That trade looks fair, so the embed is free and unrestricted rather than gated behind a plan.

The auto-height option

Tools change height as they are used — a preview appears, results expand. With auto-height selected, the embed reports its height to your page and the snippet resizes the frame to match, so there is no inner scrollbar.

The listener in that snippet checks the message came from this origin and only ever sets a height, so it cannot be used to do anything else to your page. If you would rather not run any script at all, choose a fixed height instead — the tool works identically, it just scrolls inside the frame when it grows.

Technical notes

  • Embed pages are noindex, so they will never compete with your own page in search results.
  • They are plain HTML with no framework, and their JavaScript libraries are served from filezy.app rather than a CDN — so embedding a tool does not add a third-party request to your page. The OCR tool is the one exception, and it fetches its engine only when someone actually runs it.
  • Everything is responsive down to phone width.
  • If your CMS adds sandbox to the frame, include allow-downloads allow-scripts allow-same-origin — without allow-downloads the browser blocks the finished file from saving.
  • No cookies and no local storage — nothing is kept in your visitor’s browser.
Want a tool that is not listed, or one tweaked for your audience? Ask via the contact page. If it is something a browser can do without uploading files, it is probably buildable.
