Filezy (filezy.app) is operated by Zera Technologies (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

Your files

All file processing — merging, splitting, rotating, removing pages, compressing, resizing and converting — happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. We have no ability to access, view, or recover them. Once you close or refresh the page, they are gone from memory.

This is a property of how the tools are built rather than a promise about how we behave. You can confirm it by loading any tool page, disconnecting from the internet, and using the tool — it will work normally, because no server is involved.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage: which pages are visited, approximate location at city level, device type, and how visitors arrived. This data is anonymised, is not linked to any file you process, and is not sold. You can opt out with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Cookies

We use cookies for the basic analytics and advertising described above. We do not set cookies to store anything about the files you process, because we never see them. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the tools will continue to work normally.

Third-party code

Some tools load open-source libraries from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr) so that processing can happen in your browser. Loading a library means your browser requests that file from the CDN, which will see your IP address as it would for any web request. Your own files are never sent to the CDN or anywhere else.

Children

Filezy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
